Education & Qualification:

Dr Waheed graduated from Dundee University in Scotland and moved to Birmingham in 2003. Enjoying her time in general dental practice Dr Waheed has a great passion for teaching and training as she has been a Clinical lecturer for final year dental students at the Birmingham Dental Hospital for the last 4 years. She also travels the country examining for the Royal College of surgeons of England and Edinburgh assessing Dentists gaining further qualifications. She also is a Mentor and Educational Supervisor for newly qualified dentists as part of the West Midlands Dental Deanery. Dr Waheed’s interests within dentistry are first and foremost prevention with a huge drive towards educating people in their oral health with the help of hygienist services. She also enjoys carrying out cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. In her spare time Dr Waheed enjoys going to the gym to keep fit and relaxing with her 2 young daughters spending quality time with them.
